Become a Fighting Extinction School

The Fighting Extinction Schools program provides teachers with support to build their own curriculum-linked wildlife conservation projects with their students.

What is a Fighting Extinction School?

A Fighting Extinction School has engaged children, students, and teachers in real-world learning by taking action for wildlife. You can become a Fighting Extinction School by completing a project and sharing it with Zoos Victoria online. Fighting Extinction Schools will get the opportunity to celebrate their students' achievements at the Showcase with Zoos Victoria.

We know that creating a curriculum-linked wildlife conservation project is not a simple task. For this reason, we offer a range of support to become a Fighting Extinction School.

When you share your project with us you will:

  • Have your school recognised on the our website
