Restrictions

All passengers aged 1 and over must have a ticket. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

The below for the adult to child ratios must be adhered to.

Children aged 8 and under must be supervised by a 1:1 adult to child ratio.
Children aged 9–15 must be supervised by a 1:2 adult to child ratio.

Upgrade your safari experience with a smaller group tour led by your own personal guide.

Unlike the general Safari Bus, this tour will allow you to join us on a small group adventure where we can share stories of the amazing savannah species, and maybe even get a closer look. With opportunities to stop, observe, ask questions, and capture the perfect photograph, it's just like a true African safari!

Meet rhinos, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and more as you travel across the zoo's open plains and immerse yourself in the sights, smells and sounds of the savannah like never before.

You will also learn all about the plight of these creatures in the wild and what you can do to help us fight wildlife extinction.

A few things to note:

Tours depart regularly throughout the day, select time slot when booking.
Check in at ticket office on zoo arrival. Meet at the Premium Safari Experiences station 15 minutes before tour starts.
